I Have Clothing To Sell. Mostly Size 14 And 2X.

Recommended Posts

I have a bunch of clothes that vary from size 14-22. Most of my clothes, especially smaller sizes had little wear. I was only a size 14 for a short time. Although I will eventually be a 14 at one point, I don't feel like holding on to them until Chrismas (when I estimate I will be that size.) I have three clothing listings on ebay. Two spring dresses are on ebay, and one size 14 Ashley Stewart Jacket. My bids start as low as $4.00/$5.00. The jeans will start at $10, and I combine shipping if you buy more than one. My clothes are mostly from Torrid and if you are familiar with them, their quality of clothes are very good. I actually will miss Torrid once I get smaller than a size 12. I do have other brands. I have some size 14 skirts and one pair of shorts as well. One of them is the brand Lip Service. It's like a gothic pencil skirt, and I am still debating on selling, because it's so bad a**. I also have a super short skirt from Hot Topic, and it's a size XL. It's best to wear it with leggings. I will soon be posting up a size 1x jean jacket from Torrid as well.

Contact me if you are interested in the jeans I haven't posted up.

I would recommend keeping the smaller clothes. You will be in them sooner than you think. Plus they are a great motivator to keep them around. Try them on seen how they fit, or dont fit, then put them away for a few months and you will be surprised on fast you get into them

I'm still pre-op and a size 22/24, lol. I'm 282 now, and at 190 I was a size 14, so it won't be fitting soon. My surgery isn't until the end of July. I'm doing a spring cleaning. I'm giving away some clothes locally, and selling some. I have been selling clothes for awhile now. I regret selling some of those because most were brand new or hard to get again. I didn't think about having surgery until recently. Oh well. :)

I just had a little rant about not having smaller clothes, not that I have ever been this size before. I want to second Nichelle. You really might want to hang on to the smaller clothes you have.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
