I stopped weighing myself everyday - due to frustration. For two weeks now I have been at 178-180. I started this surg at 200 on

1/24/12. I am getting 60 oz of Fluid a day and 50grams of Protein, I know I need more protein, but did any of you have this stall ? Do I need more calories, (I will admit I dont eat much at all). Any help to continue to move forward ??? Thanks

Breathe, it happens. I have been stuck at 169.8 almost 3 weeks. I was stuck at 200.8 for 3 weeks. Some of us lose, in a staircase fashion. It doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong, just that your body doesn't like letting go for a bit. Step away from the scale and just follow the plan. I know it can be frustrating, but the scale will move again. I promise!

Get more liquids in, even if it is just a popsicle or something - and yes get in more protien. If you can stand it, try using one of the protien drinks that have your Vitamins in it, like Celebrate or lean - something (forgot) from GMC - blue and white bottle...

What I have noticed is my body is fighting to use my carbs first, really trying, but even if it looses them (inches), it is holding onto Water and minerals, etc. like what you would see in a population going through a long, cold winter and spring...lots of dried meats and fish, not so many veggies at this point...

I heard it over and over but didn't do it - if you are going to worry then maybe you should take measurements...I promise you will see it in your clothes. I have dropped from 279 to 206 or so in just over a year (pre-surgery included). I went from a 26 w to a 16 ish w & I am wearing a 38 waist in men's jeans right now (I loveeee men's straight leg jeans)...so about 10 sizes in just over 70 lbs.
