strawberryblue 10 Posted March 18, 2012 Thought I'd share: I called CareCredit and asked about this. I'll have a large balance so I can't do a promotional 18 or 24 months no interest offer. I'll be doing payback at the 14.99% over several years. According to customer service, my monthly payment due will change. It won't be, say, $200 a month for 3 years. Instead, what's due is a percentage of your balance. Like a credit card. The first month, I may have to pay $200. The next month I might have to pay $190, etc. If I were to pay off the balance "early", there would be no penalty. Hope this information will help someone else. TheNewSusie 471 Posted April 11, 2012 Honestly, not quite sure, my doctors office recommended them do that's why I tried. I have to check with care credit . I hope I get approved. I've never needed anything this much!!
TheNewSusie 471 Posted April 11, 2012 Well looks like I've been denied and I'll be sleeveless. It's the worst feeling in the world.... Nobody will help me and no one wants me having surgery. I guess everyone's wish, except mine, came true
SleeveDreamer 383 Posted April 12, 2012 CareCredit is great. It goes through GE Capital. I applied on line and put in the amount i wanted and hit submit, and immediately came back with my approval code and account number. Since my doctor was not offering any type of a promotion, careCredit gave me 6 month with no interest. No penalty if paid off early.

Afro_Cyster 74 Posted April 12, 2012 Caveat: I haven't read what the previous posters suggested. Have you tried applying for a loan through your local credit union? I am fully financed and am only paying 2% in comparison to what Carecredit may offer. They also allowed me to consolidate my credit card bills into my financing which was a huge plus.
