Has any one tried these? Do you like them? I somehow bought them through Amazon and thought I had deleted them, but I still received them in the mail. So I thought I might try them. I hope I can get some good feedback about them. If they are not so good, I will return them to the sender. Thanks everyone!

Last weekend, I found them on sale at GNC and tried the apple melon flavor. I found it to be all right. I didn't find it to be any great taste sensation, but it was quite all right.

I've used the ready to drink and the powdered Isopure. I can taste the Protein in the RTD but it's not terrible and you should try different flavors. The powdered isopure is the only protein i'll use! It's the only one I can't smell. If I can smell the protein it makes me sick so isopure works for me.

i have to take one a day and i'll say get one of each flavor because you kind of get tired of it once you finish a bottle haha

and the crazy candy colored ones like purple and blue are good!

I tried a few flavors from GNC and did not like any of them -- AT ALL. The RTD Protein made my tongue and mouth feel weird, almost like there was a coating of sawdust in my mouth. My husband tried it, said the same thing. Makes my mouth pucker as well and I felt sick drinking it. Personally, I do well with the Unjury and nectar powders mixed with Water. My doctor told me the body doesn't like to absorb more than 25-30g protein in any two hour period anyhow -- so the Isopure seemed like overkill.

I have been getting very nauseous in the afternoons after drinking the Protein Shakes. Almost to the point of unbearable. Yesterday, I found the clear liquid Isopure zero carb and I think they are going to work, crossing my fingers. I am wondering why the others make me do sick? Referring to the comment above about the doctor saying that the body does not like to take in more than 25 Proteins at a time might just be what is the matter with me. I am a little worried over it and if anyone out there has an answer let me know. I personally like the isopure zero.

I had sugery on 2/27 and it is hard for me to drink milk based Protein Shakes right now. I bought 2 bottles of Isopure the blue one, and it taste good. Not anything extravagant., but it goes down without burning or hurting.

I liked the taste because it was light. Right after surgery any heavy flavors made me quesy. And I can't stand the smells either. However, the Isopure gave me horrible cotton mouth. I had to take 4 sips of Water for every sip of the IsoPure. It took 2 days to drink half a bottle then I just gave up.

I initially liked it so I bought a case (pre-op). First few weeks after surgery I couldn't stand the smell or taste! However I am now back to drinking them, but it has to be poured into a mug/cup with a small spout so I can't smell it. Another thing I do is add a squirt or 3 of the Walmart "Mio" to it (Alpine Punch-Isopure and strawberry watermelon-Mio) and ice. The biggest advantage is not only the high Protein content, but the 20 oz of Fluid at the same time. 2 birds 1 stone!

My dr wouldn't even allow me to leave the hospital until I drank 3 bottles of Isopure....once I got home I don't think I was able to finish even one in a day because I just couldn't stand them anymore. There is a reason some people refer to them as Isopuke!! :)

Isopure PLUS zero carbs was my "go to" Protein drink from my surgery date until now. I still keep them on hand. I really like the "lightness" of the flavors compared to so many of the others available. I drink the punch flavor and the grape frost. I ordered the 8 ounce bottles from Amazon. I live in the middle of nowhere, so that was the easiest way for me to get them.

I use them now after a workout. It is an easy source of Protein.< /p>

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
