kayte819 95 Posted February 29, 2012 I'm using myfitnesspal so I'm getting a good idea of my carb consumption & wondered what most of you try to stick to? Or do some of you not keep count? Just curious....
AllForMy4 58 Posted February 29, 2012 How far out are you? I am 5 weeks out and honestly I haven't kept a strict count on anything bc I know I'm not eating near enough to do any damage. I am pretty much living on Protein Drink and Water. :/ Sorry I couldn't be of much help,I would ask your nutritionist how many carbs you should be having. Lissa 2,631 Posted February 29, 2012 I don't track my carbs at all. Actually, I guess MFP tracks them anyway and I just looked. Yesterday I had 65 carbs, along with 73 g of Protein and 72 oz of Water. I concentrate on the protein and water and let the rest fall where it may.
rebecca b 19 Posted February 29, 2012 Lissa I agree with you , after getting getting the Water and Protein in there is not much more room. We all need some carb, so I tend not worry about that too. sleeved 12-19-
longer-life 139 Posted February 29, 2012 I just pulled a report from 'myfitnesspal" and in the last 30 days is has been anywhere between 30 and 65. I also only pay attention to Protein and Water.< /p>
OilSooner 23 Posted March 1, 2012 I run about 175 grams per day. But, I know that's not the norm here. I've lost 30 pounds in six weeks, for what its worth.
FishingNurse 1,211 Posted March 1, 2012 I have eaten at least 100 carbs a day for the past 4 months........
RickM 1,750 Posted March 1, 2012 I never controlled to carbs, only Protein and Water. I was typically running 70-100 per day the first three months or so and 100-120 per day after that, when I started adding some complex carb to better fuel workout endurance. Now, in maintenance, I'm typically running in the 150-200 range. Not playing the low carb/ketosis game certainly didn't slow down my weight loss (or at least I sure didn't want to lose any faster.)
