kenbr14 12 Posted February 26, 2012 I have been on the site for awhile now and I hardly see any men on here. I am 45 and having my sleeve March 1. Have been overweight only 15 years and weighed 290 when I had my initial appt. I am on the liquid diet and have lost 10 lbs already. I have high blood pressure, cholesterol and just found out I am now diabetic. I also have very bad sleep apnea. All in the past 15 years!! So all you men out there please share your story. Women, of course, are welcome too.
Thomas CPA 496 Posted February 26, 2012 Women naturally share more. Started at 305, diet and a couple rounds of intestinal flues got down to 235 for surgery last August, now 185 and stable. Great to have all the ladies, I am a tax preparer so all my clients from a year ago see a new me, give me compliments.
massindex 346 Posted February 26, 2012 All things are possible. I started out at 427 at my highest, 407 pre-surgery and I'm getting close to breaking the 200 lb barrier after 13 months. I finally moved my BMI into the "normal" range. It takes some work but I also am starting to stabize around the 200 lb mark.
