Tracey37 19 Posted February 25, 2012 Hi everyone I new to this site , I am four weeks post op and had no weight loss this week is this normal , I lost 17lbs pre op diet and have lost 17lbs in first three weeks but not lost any thing this weeks Can anyone help what going wrong I am eating my Protein first
MegInNOLA 531 Posted February 25, 2012 Oh Tracey, the much-dreaded 3-week stall is just a week late for you. Search this site for "three-week stall" and you will feel so much better--we all have it in one way, form, or fashion. It will pass. Just keep doing what you're supposed to do and hang in there. The time AFTER the stall breaks is some of the fastest loss you'll experience, so fun times are ahead! 2 Dooter and Finding MeMe reacted to this
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted February 26, 2012 However long did it take to put all that weight on? I will take time to lose the weight even with this wonderful tool we've been given. We all move at different rates in loosing weight. Some drop it right away, some drop it over time. Which is the healthier way, who knows. It will come off, stop weighing yourself and enjoy the ride. Eat healthy, which means Protein shakes, Protein, veggies, Jello, pudding SF, and drink lots of fluids. How many of you guys agree with this? 3 Finding MeMe, pussnboots and vsgm reacted to this
Tracey37 19 Posted February 26, 2012 Thanks for all your advice , I will hide them scales
IowaAndy 95 Posted February 26, 2012 Yep you have hit the infamous stall.....Mine lasted for 2 1/2 weeks and then the scale started to move again. I increased my Protein and made sure that I was getting all of my fluids which is always important. It will move again.
VJSlim 156 Posted February 26, 2012 Dont worry. Stalls are very common in this journey. I'm 6 weeks post op and havent lost weight for almost a week now. Same thing happened to me on the 3rd week too, but in the mid of 4th week I lost about 4.5 pounds so I wouldnt be bothered. Your sleeve will never go wrong. It just takes time to adjust.
