jlweb23 5 Posted March 24, 2012 I cant drink my shakes anymore, or milk for that matter:( get horrible belly cramps and a run to the bathroom about hakf hour after even a few sips.. Eas soy Protein Powder in almond milk and Isopure are all that stay dawn, and they dont taste good. My belly is still sore, but I have been home alone wth my kids all week, lifting more than I should. I cant wait for real food!! Full liquids still till 28th, even though i really am only getting in my isopure and soy shake. Too full to drink anything else. Down 14 lbs since surgery:) 1 Nina88 reacted to this

jlweb23 5 Posted March 28, 2012 How does anyone get enough liquid and Protein in? It takes me literally all day to sip 3 Protein Shakes (which thankfully now stay in my tummy) that is only 330 cslories and 51 grams protein. I have to force myself to keep drinking them. Do you eat food just to get used to eating? Because i dont know when there is time to add more and i feel super full all the time. I can start purees today. I ate some refried Beans with melted cheese, but then without drinking before and after i am behind on liquids and even more on protein now. A few bites of beans has barely nothing in it, lol. How do you get enough nutrition and Fluid once you start eating?
canadianprairiegal 31 Posted March 28, 2012 Take Vitamins I am taking flint stones they just melt in mouth. I have started to eat chicken, salmon, tuna, broccoli, peas, potato, I even had a 1/4 toasted ham sandwich today, chew chew chew, that is the key, example of what I eat in a day, Breakfast shake, lunch, cottage cheese, fruit, or Soup creamy, or-yogurt/ fruit, probably 4 oz max Supper chicken 3oz, or tuna 4tbsp, or salmon 4oz, with a veggie peas 2tsp broccoli 2 tsp, potato maybe 1 baby spoon, I do not snack I am not hungry so I between meals drink Water, although maybe I get down 25 oz, not much I know but slowly increasing. I made this great pattie the other nite, 2 cups broccoli 1 fillet of salmon 1/4 cup shredded cheese 1or 2 eggs 1/4 c red onion Put all in food processor, till chopped, then spray muffin tin with Pam, 1 heaping tbsp of mixture in muffin tin. Cook 350 for 20 mins, 1 was enough I was full, great to have handy in fridge or freezer, Could use chicken tuna ham or a different veggie like cauliflower ,,,,, After 3 weeks I am down 27.7 lbs and 10 inches
