3 Months Out Too Soon For A Half Margarita?

Recommended Posts

I will be 3 months out in march and I will be going on a cruise. Would it be too soon to try a little margarita or a glass of wine? I know there are no nutritional benefits, but I would like to indulge in one if it will not harm me.

Thanks

My surgeon says no alcohol for a year. I know many people don't stick to those guidelines. I don't know that it would do physical harm, but I won't risk it for quite a while I don't think.

As much as I hate this answer...my doctors encourage me to avoid alcohol for a year after surgery.

Kaiser has taught us that alcohol can kill us! So I have no desire to prove them wrong. I don't need to drink. I'm happy right where I am. ;)

I got a 6 month rule for alcohol.

Have a margarita! But without the tequila :)

I had two glasses of wine this past weekend (4wks out). I didnt have any problems. Just treat it as you would any other new food. I don't know if I would try hard liquor though. Non sparkling wine worked good for me.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
