pmartin 3 Posted February 17, 2012 So here it is ... I am 3 weeks post op for gall bladder removal and gastric imbrication/plication and this week I have had this nervous Jittery feeling a few times. I dont like it, and wondering if anyone else has had this feeling, cause I thought those who had the bypass only suffered dumping. I am in the mushie stage and not eating anything much other than my Protein drinks, yogurt, Soup, etc. Just dont know if this is due to the missing gall bladder or the imbrication. Thank you all P
Bedhead 158 Posted February 17, 2012 I've experienced dumping once after taking a Protein shake too fast. It was very scary and extremely acute. It wasn't just jitters- my whole body was shaking, I could barely walk from the living room to my bedroom and my heart was racing while my whole my body was covered in a cold sweat. traceyc 89 Posted February 17, 2012 I had my gallbladder removed in 1998 and I started experiencing what you are saying within a month of surgery along with cramping. There is going to be sometime for your body to adjust to the change in your digestion without your gallbladder. I tried to keep track of what foods triggered it. Greasy foods of course, but I had trouble with uncooked veggies at first too and sometimes it seems to happen randomly. It gets much better as time goes by. I was sleeved on 2/7 and so far have not experienced anything like it.
