housecatgirl 0 Posted August 1, 2006 Yesterday I was helping out at my son's dance studio. Since they give him a full scholarship I feel like I should help out from time to time. Anyway, I was lifting boxes that maybe weighed 20-30lbs each from the studio director's car. I felt ok until after I was sitting for awhile later in the day and I stood up I had some port pain for about 10 minutes. It's been tender since but not really too painful. It's been almost 5-weeks for me...is it too soon to be lifting?:rolleyes Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Marimaru 7 Posted August 1, 2006 I was told to wait 6 weeks before lifting anything. You probably pulled on the muscles your port is settled in, which also strained the stitches.
