Awesome! I am glad I could help! I am 3 days post op and as soon as I can have full liquids, I am all over these!

I ordered a 4pk of vanilla and strawberry on their website for $25 with shipping.... I liked both of them and am planning on ordering more through the website.

Hoo. I thought paying $25 for 18 was outrageous. But then again I am the one who paid $20 for a dozen "spa" waters on Amazon and then couldn't stand them.

I think that if you can find a Protein drink that is palatable, it's worth it at any price. Too bad you can't find them locally.

I just bought a case. Didn't see on the label that they contain sucralose which tastes horrible to me. I know I can return them, but I hate to do that.

Tried making ice cream with one carton. The texture came out OK. Not like real ice cream, but nice for a change from shakes.

Why can't they make an honest to goodness taste free, unflavored Protein? ?

I tried this one today, and it was EXCELLENT. Drank half, then the other half ~30min later. It tasted just like it said....and I'm not overwhelmed by any over sweetness.

I take premiere Protein and add to sugar free Jello mix. Makes a delicious pudding!

I got a giant container of unflavored Protein Powder, so I don't have to keep buying cases of the Premier liquid. Still learning how to add that to a good bariatric recipe.

But it's always handy to have the liquid ones, when I don't have time to make something.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
