Reddi4change 27 Posted February 11, 2012 One of my relatives who had bypass a few years ago, suggested that i sleep in a recliner chair. Let me tell you, it helped a milion with the pain, I was sleeved on 2/6/2012... getting in and out of bed hurt so bad, but now sleeping in recliner pain is almost gone, dont even feel like i need the meds. sunnyd 32 Posted February 11, 2012 Agree- it helps so much during recovery. I couldn't get in bed with all the pain so the recliner it was for a few weeks. Glad your pain is going away. good luck to you as you continue on this journey!

Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted February 11, 2012 In the hospital, I slept in a reclining position, it was too painful to get up and down.
Zavtra 9 Posted February 11, 2012 Thumbs up for the recliner! Got mine on Thursday and wish I had it two weeks ago, right after my surgery. Rolling off the couch is no fun. BTW, why are hospital beds 10 feet off the ground?
