fitforlife 18 Posted February 8, 2012 Hello everyone, can you share with me how much weight you'll lost the first few weeks after surgery. I lost 10 lbs the 1st week but my scale has not budged for 1 wk. Eating everything by the book... not sure why I'm stagnating
LacieMC 136 Posted February 8, 2012 I lost 30 pounds in the first two 1/2 weeks and I am in the famous 3rd week (going to 4th week) stall right now. Maybe you hit your stall early, but maybe you will jump out quicker. It seems every single person has a different experience. I also got constpated in my 3rd week, maybe that's a factor??? the toughest part for me EVERYDAY is to not compare my ticker with everyone elses. It seems we are used to failure (dieting) and we see these amazing tickers and automatically assume we are doing something wrong. Hang in there...

JenWes 3 Posted February 8, 2012 I am five weeks post op (Surgery Jan. 3) and I have lost exactly 25lbs since the date of my surgery. 1 fitforlife reacted to this
Billysbelly 19 Posted February 8, 2012 Well went into surgery a male, lite weight at 277 lbs and a week after was 260 and now 4 weeks 258 lbs. I don't have trouble eating anything and try to stay around 800 calories. I've been stuck around 258-260 for two weeks. Being a lite weight I think it's going to come off real slow for me. 1 fitforlife reacted to this
Pookeyism 1,143 Posted February 8, 2012 I have lost about 25 lbs but have not weighed in a few days. SO 1 month post op that is 25 lbs. I am OK with it - I have not stalled so far either. 1 fitforlife reacted to this

hadouni 301 Posted February 8, 2012 I'm 4 weeks, 2 days out and down 31. I did have a stall in week three but also had my period that week, so who knows?
Rico 55 Posted February 9, 2012 I lost 37 pounds in my first month. Stalls are normal just switch the type of foods you eat, excercise and you will break the stall. The rule is that if you keep tricking your body you will keep losing the weight.
