SKCUNNINGHAM 298 Posted February 6, 2012 I have been a shower taker rather than a bath taker for many years. Don't normally take the time for long, decandent soaks in the tub. Also, when we moved into our current house four years ago, I discovered I really didn't fit in our tub. Even though it was a large whirlpool tub - when I got in it with the correct amount of Water (so the Water didn't go into the overflow drain) there were large (pun intended) parts of me that couldn't get under the water level. Not a relaxing expererience. And the bathroom has way to many mirrors that replicated the sight of my too large self not fitting into the tub. I think I took two baths in that tub in four years. Well, I took a long, luxurious soak this afternoon. ALL PARTS OF ME fit under the water level! It was wonderful. I loved it! Needless to say - no pictures with this NSV. :-)
MyVSG2012 15 Posted February 6, 2012 That's one of my "want to do" things. Our new apartment has a small oval tub and I find it too hard to get down and up.
Kimmie-sleeve 34 Posted February 6, 2012 I was surprised to notice the difference in my big soaking tub too!! This girl loves her bubbles... it's actually my favorite thing about our new house, and now it's more comfortable than ever!! :smilingface (52): Kimmie

Julie76 251 Posted February 6, 2012 I love this!!! After all of our hard work we deserve to be able to relax and enjoy some "ME" time. No better place than a warm, relaxing bubble bath.
hadouni 301 Posted February 6, 2012 awesome!! I can't wait to see if my bathtub feels big enough once I'm not too big!! My big moment recently was putting on a pair of underwear that I hadn't been wearing much because any time I'd move they'd roll down under my gut... they don't roll down any more!! Love it!! 1 Julie76 reacted to this

MegInNOLA 531 Posted February 7, 2012 Aw, hey, now... I have a beautiful whirlpool tub in my bathroom that I have NEVER used, for many of the same reasons, Sharon--too many mirrors, too much me.... I think I might just have to revisit that tub!! Thanks for the reminder of a very pleasant possibility!
