n2theswim 1 Posted February 6, 2012 I am so grateful for a successful surgery w/ no complications!! I was down 6 lbs on my 1 wk post-op follow-up. I am still on liquids & Soups, nothing solid yet, but have actually felt hunger. That surprised & worried me. I have 100+ lbs to lose & want this to be successful. I've been told that once I restart solids I'll notice my food limitations a lot more & that it's not unusual for the liquids to pass very easily. Yesterday I had 3 Protein Shakes, a single serving each of yogurt, Soup, & oatmeal over the course of the day. It's nothing compared to what I used to consume, but I worry I have too much capacity this early on (only 2 wks post-op). I have started back exercising pretty regularly too... Overall I'm grateful. Just a bit of a worrier...
Shell.C 15 Posted February 6, 2012 I love my sleeve also... best decision i've ever made. was 219kgs when i had my sleeve done on 5th dec 2011 and now im down to 190kgs. Am due back to see my surgeon tomorrow for the first time since surgery so i hope he is as happy as me. i really find these forums so full of inspirational people. it is great to hear everybody elses stories and i have learned so much from them.
