*susan* 1,709 Posted February 1, 2012 As many of you know, due to major emotional issues with family, and major back problems resulting in my not being able to exercise since August, I have packed quite a few pounds back on. Well, I had an outpatient surgery procedure on my back yesterday, am already starting to feel better, and am free to begin exercising again starting Friday. I am so pumped, I feel like today really is the first day of the rest of my life. I have recommitted to my sleeve and am ready to go. I know this time I really need to watch every bite I put in my mouth. I looked at several of the free sites online, but I really have a firm grasp on Weight Watchers, understand the program and have had great success with it pre-sleeve. So, even though I have to pay for it, I have decided to do Weight Watchers Online. I officially weighed in and started tracking today. I was just wondering if anyone else is doing WW. If so, feel free to add me as a friend there, my profile name is in my signature.
KellyL 173 Posted February 1, 2012 Good luck Susan!! We gotta do, what we gotta do!! If you are familiar with WW and feel comfortable with the plan, then that is what works for you! So glad you're feeling better after your procedure. I have been going to the Wellness Center and using the pool and I LOVE it!! I have a bad back/hip problem and swimming and Water aerobics is so easy on the joints. But with exercise too, it has to be something you really enjoy to keep your interest. Let us know how it goes and I'm sure there are some other WW ppl here.
thinoneday 445 Posted February 1, 2012 Hi Susan, no i didn't realize you had problems. . . i'm so sorry to hear that. . however, i'm so glad to hear that you feel better! Just be really careful getting back into the "swing" of things. . . life has a funny way of "debilitating" us if we aren't careful. . . good luck and I know you'll do great as you recoup! Keep us posted of your recovery!
