fell4falls 18 Posted January 30, 2012 I was sleeved on January 3. Up until the past week,I have loved my sleeve. However, for the past week I have been stalled. My starting weight was 263. I have been stuck at 242 for a week! Today, I am supposed to start on regular foods, but I am so worried that it will either prolong my stall or worse, make the scale go up! I know I am new to this, so I am open to any and all advice! 1 Nikki613 reacted to this
jenni_867 14 Posted January 30, 2012 This is normal. You wont prolong or gain weight with regular foods. I found i actually had much more energy once i started regular foods, and the weight started dropping off again.

Julie76 251 Posted January 30, 2012 You will find you are also losing inches. I had my three week stall also. Your body has to have time to catch up somehow. Keep up the good work!

I know I am new to this, so I am open to any and all advice! You are smack in the middle of the 3rd week stall. 99% of sleevers will stall around this time. The only things you can do are stay with the plan and have patience. It will pass.
FishingNurse 1,211 Posted January 30, 2012 Don't worry stalls are normal and you might be stalled for a few more weeks. Prepare for the worst. YOU WILL keep losing!! Thats for sure. I was stalled at 225 in the beginning for 3 weeks. I thought that was the lowest I was going to weigh!! he he he
Dooter 1,457 Posted January 30, 2012 Stop weighing for a while. Just enjoy the ride!
christin 54 Posted January 30, 2012 I just started real food today as well (yay!!). My surgeon told me to prepare to lose little or even nothing for the next 2 weeks. I hope that isn't the case, but I have prepared myself mentally. I just find it so interesting how the body works and how everyone releases weight at a different pace and at a different schedule.
