Sounds Like "pop Rocks"

First a celebration: highest weight-208, day of surgery-192, 4 weeks out-175 down 33lbs!

Question: What is the sound I am hearing after I eat a more solid food in my throat that sounds like "pop rocks"??? It doesn't burn or hurt, just weird crackling, bubbly sounding. Gas? Reflux? Pop-rock-I-dis?

first of all, congratulations on your 33 pounds!!! That's great.

second, I don't know what that sound is but your post made me laugh. "pop rocks"! that's hysterical. If it's not uncomfortable, maybe it will just pass. If you start to get uncomfortable, maybe you should ask your doc what's up?

I have the same sound! Not all the time, but enough for me to also ponder this "pop rocks" question. I think it's gas/air getting forced up from the solids going down or settling, but that is just me trying to make sense of it - no facts.
