BeachWithMyBabies 24 Posted January 24, 2012 Sorry! Just realized I should have put this in the recipe section. If an admin want to move it over, that's fine! Ironically, I'm a teacher but apparently not good at reading directions.....
lookingahead 7 Posted January 27, 2012 Thanks for sharing your recipes! Tonight I finally picked up some whey Protein....someone on the board recommended the Target Whey vanilla and I have to say it's delicious!!! One of my favorite "fat girl" treats was a vanilla milkshake with nuts in it (go figure) so I tried to replicate it, and I feel like I'm having a milk shake. 1 scoop Vanilla Whey 1 cup (8 oz) Unsweetened Almond Milk 6 Raw Almonds 6 Ice Cubes (my fridge makes small ice cubes) Splash of pure vanilla extract Blend it up, and it's great. I love the small chunks of almonds while drinking it. It's a total treat, and had a good amount of Protein (approx 27)! It is 280 calories, so going forward is likely going to be a dinner rather than an evening treat. Wanted to pass it along just incase anyone was interested.
