I was told that after all the steri strips or suture tape falls off then its ok to bathe.

I was told 6 weeks for bathing and swimming. My surgeon did not use stitches on my laproscopic "ports", just the glue and steri strips. You don't want any germs settling in there, for sure!

I was told after the scabs were gone which was about week 4. I love my baths too and hate showers.
