Lissa 2,631 Posted January 20, 2012 It IS possible to defeat the sleeve, just like any other weight loss surgery. But, you're going to classes at Kaiser? I'm assuming yes. They will help you work on your food issues and, if they don't, then I recommend you find a counsellor who will help you work on them. The surgeon sleeves our stomachs, not our heads, so the head work has to be done by us, either before surgery, or afterwards. Good luck!!
newgrandmother11 25 Posted January 20, 2012 I HAVE A LOT OF HEAD ISSUES LOL. SERIOUSLY WHEN I WAS IN 5TH GRADE MY AUNT MADE ME WEAR A GRIDLE SHE SAID MY ASS WAS TO BIG TO BE WALKING AROUND. I WAS ONLY 11 I THINK BUT IT REALLY MESSED ME UP WITH MY SELF IMAGE. ALSO WHEN I WAS MARRIED MY HUSBAND LOVED PORN AND MUSIC VIDEOS AND I ALWAYS FELT I HAD TO LOOK LIKE THOSE WOMEN AND NOW LOOK AT ME. LOTS OF HEAD WORK

Lissa 2,631 Posted January 20, 2012 yeah, the head work is the hardest part, especially when your self-esteem has been STOMPED. Good luck! I'm looking forward to hearing that you are in counselling and working through your issues.
