twoboysmom 0 Posted July 29, 2006 I had lap band surgery, july10th. I'm down about 12 lbs. I wanted to discuss eating alittle. I feeling myself "picking". A little ice cream here, a chicken nugget there. I don't think I should be doing this! Also, my body does tell me when I need to stop. I start gagging! Anyway, I think I should be loosing more than this. Even though I'm picking, the calorie intake is so little. Shouldn't the weight be coming off quicker?? Thanks in advance for any advice. JMO 0 Posted July 29, 2006 uhhhh NO! you should not be losing faster. first aff anything you lose in the first month is a bonus. You are healing... let your body heal. After that 12 lbs a month is more than the average 1-2 lbs a week loss. So take your 12 lbs and be HAPPY!!!! but yeah I agree you should not be picking... If there is something you want then set it aside and when you are hungry eat it for lunch.. Good luck and again be happy 12 lbs is awsome....
