tuttle 2 Posted January 13, 2012 Was wondering if any of you have a difficult time with certain foods, do they make you sick or throw up?
Doreykn 113 Posted January 13, 2012 Surprisingly the only thing that upsets my sleeve is scrambled eggs. Dr thought that was odd since it's one of the first foods we can eat! I have never thrown up from anything...
BrownDoesAll 409 Posted January 13, 2012 I think I have a rock stomach.9 weeks out and I can eat anything. The only time I feel I might throw up is if I've eaten too fast or the food has too much oil in it. I also notice.. one of my favorite's is chicken. I must make it moist and it goes down good, if its a chicken breast and its dry.. wont go down well. The sleeve is really funny, But I'm sure you've read on this site.. If at first it doesnt work for you.. try again in a couple of days.
w8loss4me 15 Posted January 13, 2012 I'm only two weeks post op so I haven't been able to eat "real food". But, the one thing so far that made me sick were sugar free fudgesicles.

Indymom 132 Posted January 14, 2012 I've figured out that I have a slight intolerance to some greasy foods . . . for example, I was running around today and thought a cheeseburger sounded good. I removed one of the Buns and tried to eat the burger, but it just didn't go down well. Probably a good thing, really, since it wasn't the best food choice for me anyway! Other than that, the only other food that bothers me is a lot of Mayonnaise - I can't really eat chicken or tuna salad anymore (but can do a small amount of mayo on a sandwich).
