Rico 55 Posted January 8, 2012 I'm about 6 weeks post op now and i lost a total of 41 pounds. During this period of weight loss i stayed away as much as possible from foods with high fat, carbs and sugar. How much of the above should i limit myself to in my daily diet? Thanks
Lissa 2,631 Posted January 8, 2012 I don't worry about ANY numbers other than getting in my 70 grams of Protein and 64 oz of Water. Period. Your doc or nut may have different goals for you, but I've been successful so far with what I'm doing. I've list 81 pounds in 4 months. Good luck!! Indymom 132 Posted January 8, 2012 Your nutritionist might have a specific plan for you, but I know that my program didn't really have any set guidelines regarding this. I personally try to stay between 700-900 calories (more often leaning towards the high end) - at least 75 grams of Protein and below 50 grams of fat and carbs. Liliana Arleen 173 Posted January 9, 2012 I agree with Indymom, your Nut should help you with that, also if you can track your calories in my fitness pal on your phone or any other website would be very helpful. I am 6 weeks post op like you and I am having about 900 Calories per day,65 g of Protein and I am trying to limit my carbs or sugars. They told me 600-900 calories per day at my stage would be good. BrownDoesAll 409 Posted January 9, 2012 I guess every plan is different, and it depends on the food stage your in. Im 7 weeks post op and my NUT focuses on Protein, which she wants at least 60g and less than 30g carbs. 64oz Water per day
