royboy 40 Posted January 7, 2012 4 weeks post-op and seems when I switched to mushies the problem started. When I eat I get a funny feeling in my stomach, with any food I eat. it's different than it was for the first 3 weeks. It feels like my tummy knots up and I get mild pain and some nausea every time I eat. Doesn't matter if it's mushies or yogurt. Could this be a leak? restriction? any advise would help me. Beckyboo 1 Posted January 7, 2012 I have heard some people become lactose intolerant after surgery, any chance it could be that? I am having my surgery on Feb. 6 but am all ready lactose intolerant, so nothing new for me. When I eat something with lactose, that's how I feel.

Happy Camper 266 Posted January 7, 2012 If you are following the diet, Fluids, exercise As directed, dEfinately best to check in with your bariatric office. As a result of my abscess the surgeons in the practice I went to now prescribe antibiotics pre/post surgery. I now subscribe to if it is different and especially if it hurts - call and at least check with them. Also, fever is generally a check for leak but it does not always show up that way. Best to you.
