honey 0 Posted January 5, 2012 I first seen my surgon on 11/17/11 an he suggested the vsg an sent me home with a list of appointments that i have since went to ,so my qustion is apx when will i get my sugery how far away do they sch it from when you first start the process? Lissa 2,631 Posted January 5, 2012 It depends on lots of things, including your insurance reqs. I was originally scheduled for aug 12, 2011, but was pushed to the 30th of August because of a blood clot issue. If your labs and tests are good and you have ins approval, then you may be waiting for an opening in the surgeon's schedule. That would make it pretty quick! Good luck!!! thinoneday 445 Posted January 5, 2012 Yup, like lissa says, it depends on things. I had my initial appt in November and had my surgery 3 weeks later.
