sabrina140 33 Posted January 4, 2012 Happy New Year!! First, thank you all for being so open and helpful! My required nutritionist appointments are finished, all of the tests have been run, x rays complete, today I went for my psych evaluation... done. Now the waiting game. My psych Dr. said a week or so to get his letter prepared and sent over to the surgeon, then insurance auth... Although this process has been looooooong, I have a feeling the next couple weeks will be the slowest. Wish me luck! xoxo

Hang in there it is worth the wait. In the mean time it gives you a chance to ask all kinds of questions. Questions are a great way to educate yourself on what is going to happen. I wish you nothing but success. Hugs, Suzanne
hadouni 301 Posted January 4, 2012 Good luck! I'm headed in for pre-op tomorrow. My first real appointment with the surgeon was back in September and I didn't get my official approval until early December. It takes a while but I can't wait to have my surgery complete. I go in Monday morning at 8:30am and surgery is set for 10:30!
Lilu 65 Posted January 4, 2012 I understand how you feel just hang on in there. I also want you to prepare yourself for delays. I started journey in October of 2010 and tomorrow I am having my endoscopy and hopfully I will get my date for the surgery soon. I need to have it done soon or I will have to wait six my months and start all over again. I need to go back to work and the Pain is unbelievable now. No matter what hoops I have to jump through I will have this surgery.
