AllForMy4 58 Posted January 20, 2012 Ohhh I so needed to read all these funny and inspiring comments! Love this thread! =) I am in 24's right now BUT they are getting loose since being on my pre-op diet! Woo hoo! I am tired of wearin sweats and t shirts and hiding from all the pics. I too am always taking pics of my hubs with the kids bc I am too embarrassed to be in the pics. Cannot wait to be down into some smaller sizes so I can shop comfortably. I actually think I forgot how to shop for myself, its crazy! The only clothes I buy are baby and husband clothing! Can't wait to buy a bra from Victoria's Secret,ha! =))
wondering1 103 Posted January 20, 2012 I can really relate to what you're saying. I hated shopping before surgery because I felt so huge and so fat that nothing fit right. I even cried in a dressing room a few times. I was a tight size 22W and refused to buy 24s. Now... fast forward 5.5 months later and guess what??? Not only do I LOVE shopping and trying on clothes but I've become a clothes SNOB!! I used to buy whatever fit and looked decent. Now I only want Ralph Lauren (which I wear most of the time), Michael Kors, or Calvin Klein. I have to wear an XL top or sweater in RL and a size 18 skirt, where other brands I can wear a Large and size 16 bottom, but I don't even care. I love my name brand designer clothes. I never thought I would turn into a high-maintenance woman but I think I have. Life is funny And yes, you will love shopping too!!!! 1 AllForMy4 reacted to this

MizzStar 2 Posted February 7, 2012 ...is to be able to weigh myself on the house scale. I haven't been able to weigh myself at home or at the drs office in years. I now once i make it to 350 I have met a major goal of mine. I've always been a chunky girl and dressed my weight well I never focused on my weight! 1 longer-life reacted to this
100%Sleeved 148 Posted February 7, 2012 I can't wait to fit into a size 7 Levi 501 and 550 jeans. I was a size 7/8 prior to my 3rd child 9 years ago and I would love to wear them again. I will settle for a size 9/10 also. Oh how I loved Levi jeans. I wouldn't dare put on a pare right now. Great post.
