Countess 5 Posted December 28, 2011 I am waiting for the surgeon in the pre-op area of the hospital. I kissed my kids goodbye this morning and had a sudden flashback of doing that and it made me cry. Nothing is going to happen but keep me in your prayers!! 1 Pookeyism reacted to this

LCS 21 Posted December 29, 2011 Dear Clasica, I am now 8 mos. post op, and as I look back at the procedure, I must say that the most emotionally tough time for me was in the preop room at the hospital. I felt fear, uncertainty, and remorse. I wanted to bolt at times. I even asked the nurse if it was too late for me to change my mind. It was the only time I shed some tears throughout this entire journey. You are very normal for feeling the way you do. You will have some highs and lows, especially in the beginning, but BELIEVE me, it is so worth it! Congrats on making the right decision, and welcome to the loser's bench.
