jailynn 49 Posted December 27, 2011 I gained a quarter pound and I'm so upset by it. No excuses, I didn't exercise last week AND I had a few extra tastes of some Christmas treats...but seeing that scale go UP again, just like pre-sleeve, shook me up like I wasn't expecting. In the past I've always been like, "well I blew it today so I might as well have some more of this or that". Don't do it. Look at how far you've come and keep going. We can do this!! jailynn 49 Posted December 27, 2011 Ateam...I know I shouldn't let it get me down..I've been very fortunate that I never had a stall..for the first time in over four months, the scale went UP instead of down and it shocked me a bit. Felicia 28 Posted December 27, 2011 You will be totally fine! Try and stay positive and just amp-up your workouts for a while. The gain, like someone else said, could be caused by anything really. It doesn't really mean you gained any fat, it's honestly probably just Water. Keep up the good work and stay positive! I have been in a stall since 2.5 weeks post-op and I am still stuck and I am almost 1 month post-op.. During this time the scale has fluctuated anywhere from 1-5 pounds UP and down. It kills me everytime I step on the scale, it's like my body refuses to go under 220 pounds. This is a time I always get stuck during and and all of my diets. I am doing what LilMissDiva has posted about Bootcamp something or another. It's basically a way to get yourself back on track when things seemed to have strayed. You might wanna check it out too. sasicas 194 Posted December 28, 2011 Don't let the scale control you. It happens far too often. We go from letting food control us to allow that stupid scale to control our lives. The scale will fluctuate for ever. The rest of your life that scale will go up and down. You can do everything perfect and still see the scale go up and sometimes you can go totally crazy eating crap foods and see the scale go down.
