CT Fats 82 Posted December 23, 2011 Hey Guys Im really jonesing for a McDonalds strawberry milkshake. I have no intention of breaking my diet and slipping off the wagon, especially for a liquid heart attack (582cals) so im looking for healthy alternitives that would satisfy the craving. Im tired of the Protein Powder and I don't mind some 1% or skim milk. If anybody has a good, thick healthy shake recipe please share.
PhatGurl80 26 Posted December 23, 2011 Now, I am no shake expert, but i'm sure you could create your own shake with some lowfat or fatfree vanilla icecream or frozen yogurt, put in a little bit of that Hershey's sugar free strawberry Syrup and blend with some ice and/or skim milk. I use the strawberry syrup in my Protein Shakes and I think it's delicious.
bikerchick519 202 Posted December 23, 2011 I used to own an Herbalife Nutrition club and I made Protein Shakes and smoothies of all flavors. I use Herbalife shake mix but any shake mix will do. If you are allowed fruit yet this will be great. Use a cup of skim milk, the Protein Shake mix powder (vanilla), about 3 frozen strawberries, a teaspoon of strawberry extract, and a few ice cubes. Blend in the blender until frozen and smooth. I can only eat a half one now. theworldaccordingtoeggface.com has great shake recipes too.

I'm only 7 days post-op so i know i can't have the strawberry yet, but what else could i add? Any suggestions? kathy
lessofme2010 25 Posted December 24, 2011 EASAdvantage makes a strawberry ready to drink that tastes like a shake.< /p> You could put it in a blender with some berries and ice and I bet it would be very close to a shake. Julie
