Held back and unable to check in due to a family tragedy but I'm back! And down 8 lbs ! 154 today !

Correction I lost 6 lbs didn't realize I checked in last Saturday I was 160 today 154! Still a big loss and today im down 50 lbs!!!

Down two this week finally. Joined the YMCA yesterday afternoon. Looking forward to new workouts.

Lost 1 lb and I'm happy lol

I value every pound lost now. This is a new feeling for me because before surgery losing a lb meant nothing to me. Now I realize how important each pound is and they add up!!! Yay

Aha! Found it! Thanks to lessofmore! She liked my post from last week so I was able to follow the trail....

Weight yesterday was 205.3. Down a bit, but that's better than up!!

So I haven't been checking in because I am trying not to weigh myself between doctor appointments. But I couldn't help myslef this morning so I am officially in onderland! 199.5

Good morning everybody! Down 1 pound this week but even better--lost 2 inches on the back side. Joined a gym and hired a trainer this week. The couple of times in my life that I joined a gym (once was an all-women's facility) and the other during my 30's, it always felt awkward & made me self-conscious. I have to say that age makes it easier to tolerate--now I know what I need to do and am doing it for me. Have a great week!

I was 205 & change last week. This week 203 on the nose. I ate very low carb and that seems to be what works for me. I have a doc appt on monday & hope to be finally cleared to go back to the pool.

Ok, I didn't report last week because I couldn't report a loss. Well, guess what, I still can't.

I really need to go home & pick up my bicycle.

I was 186.7 *last* week, and weighed in at 184.3 *this morning*! So that's a loss of 2.4 pounds THIS WEEK! Yay! :) 13 pounds until I'm at 100 lost, and 15 until I'm at my goal weight! :)

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
