Charlotte 23 Posted December 15, 2011 My first day was horrible after surgery I woke with a fat lip, left side of my face was puffy and I hurt so bad. The nurses said it was because of the tube they put in so I could breath. Dr Atkinson from Las Vegas did my surgery Monday afternoon I am having trouble with the Protein Powder, can't get use to the taste.
indi1 66 Posted December 15, 2011 Congratulations- I hope everything is going well and I'm really excited for you! I am pre-op so I can't speak for the Protein powder, but understand it may be difficult. 1 Charlotte reacted to this

ktrgmb 1 Posted December 15, 2011 I truly hope you feel better today. That pain will pass and just think about your long term goal, it will be worth the pain afterall. Take care of yourself. 1 Pookeyism reacted to this
illgeturhairdid 176 Posted December 15, 2011 The pain passes quickly. Day 5 I woke up and realized I was sleeping on my stomach! Even more then that, I was so comfy I decided to sleep for another hour! I had a hard time too with the Protein powder. I sucked it up though and got it down. It is easier to drink now then it was. Take your time and get used to your new tummy- Good luck to you! 1 Pookeyism reacted to this
