sychadelic 10 Posted December 11, 2011 I actually got hit on tonight! Not something that ever really happens to me, but anyways, he seemed really nice, was attractive and clean cut and funny. So, I gave him my number for us to text and see what happened from there. So we began texting and he was so complimentary, but then......... Why is it men have to turn texting into SEXTING??? Yes, sex is part of life, but come on! How about spending time getting to know something about someone before bringing it up.....on the first night? Sorry that I'm on a rant here, but it just sucks.....I was so excited. Now I have to wonder if it's him or if I put out some sort of vibe that says that would be okay. 1 danithediva reacted to this
Lissa 2,631 Posted December 11, 2011 It's him. Some guys will try even if you aren't putting that vibe out there. I have a dear (married) friend who is like that. All the gals I know just laugh his attempts off, but he still tries. His saving grace is that he's charming about it, and he's as much of a flirt with his wife around as he is without his wife around. My only suggestion is to accept the flattery and avoid the bedroom, unless you really are interested in having that kind of relationship with him. And, yes, there are some nice men out there, they just aren't usually as outgoing as the Casanova types. 1 sychadelic reacted to this
guzel 11 Posted December 11, 2011 It's him. Don't let his behavior make you second guess your own behavior.
Thomas CPA 496 Posted December 11, 2011 From a guy's perspective, even if you put out a vibe that is no reason for him to act like a jerk. You were only texting, not like you were out on a fifth date and acting like giddy high school kids, in which case you just slap him silly. If you like him then tell him to stop it and you prefer a gentleman. If he can't do that then drop him, block his number, and remember the song by Captain and Tenille "You better shop around" 2 Shoppingbeemom and sychadelic reacted to this
