Capt Derel's Gastric Sleeve Surgery Journey

Recommended Posts

I am reading about a liver gall bladder clense with B3, lemon juice, olive oil taken orally and coffee taken as a suppository.

B3 dialates the bile ducts, olive oil and lemons make the bile ducts hyperactive and coffee is a laxitive that helps pass the stones.

Thinking about trying this wednesday morning. Just hating the suppository part.

Hey Derel long time no talk! Congratulations on blowing up the scale in a GOOD way. I am hoping my gall bladder stays okay. I have been seeing a couple of videos on youtube of my favorite sleevers that are getting their gallbladders removed 1-2 years post op. I guess the attacks didn't happen right away. Hoping that doesn't happen to me because I don't have insurance right now. May be taking my ass back to mexico for that if it happens.

Did I read that right??? coffee as a suppository? Will it be fresh brewed or are you using the coffee grounds?

They are boiling it in a pot and straining it. I dont know but I read this on multiple websites and multiple videos on youtube. But heres another way

HOW TO REMOVE GALLSTONES NATURALLY

For the first five days, drink at least four glasses of apple juice every day. Freshly squeezed or packaged apple juice are both okay. Or eat four or five apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the five days, eat normally.

On the sixth day, take no dinner. (But take Breakfast and lunch as usual and ok to drink Water or other light fluids at night, but not, for example, a hearty Soup.)

At 6 pm, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm Water.< /p>

At 8 pm, repeat the same. Epsom salt or magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.

At 10 pm, take half cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage. See above about possible instant diarrhea during this final step to remove gallstones naturally.

After this, sleep or at least lie down and rest. Do not engage in physical activity.

The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools.

"Usually they float", Dr Lai Chiu Nan notes. "You might want to count them. I have had people who passes 40, 50 or up to 100 stones. Very many". Even if you don't have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It's always good to give your gall bladder clean up now and then.

I would love to be able to hold off until I go back to mexico and do my tuck and gall bladder removal all in one shot. I have a appointment today with a surgeon, gonna see exactly what I got going on.

I know a guy who took Epson salt for a laxative, this is gross so I warned ya but he said his BM's were sludge for an entire day. That stuff is potent.

If anyone tries it, give us an update.

No way. I'm not in any pain right now. But if I did that I'm sure I would be. If I start having gall bladder attacks I might consider it.

I just want to thank the person who posted a description of their gallbladder attack. Because of that description I went to my doctor today and I'm scheduled for surgery on 9/28.

Have you been on any gall bladder medication since surgery?

Butter, I had NO clue I had gallbladder problems...and I've had attacks before, but didn't realize it. Last week's was so bad I almost went to the ER. I truly thought I was dying while it was happening.

I am so sorry to hear that. I only ask because I've been on ursodiol since surgery to prevent the gallstones, and I think I'm supposed to stay on it till I quit losing. I'm hoping this will prevent the gall bladder issues altogether, but I don't know.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
