Has Anyone Tried Unjury Protein Cheese Sauce?

Recommended Posts

It just showed up in a banner ad when I was searching on something else. Is it all it's cracked up to be? Because it sure looks interesting to me.

Yes tried it at my last nutrition class, and it was very good. My 9 yr old was with me and she even liked it.

I ordered mine on Friday. For some reason ever since I got home from the hospital all I want is cheese. I saw the ad for the Protein cheese sauce and just about cried tears of joy! I felt literally like I NEEDED it, so I charged it to a credit card- something I try to avoid using!

I ordered a package yesterday. I plan to use it when I move to solid foods. Mac and cheese is one of my trigger foods. I hope this satifies the cravings without breaking any of my doctor's orders. I'll let you know if it tastes good or not.

I've been intrigued by it, but I can't imagine I could be using enough cheese sauce on anything to really get much Protein out of it. I loved mac 'n' cheese pre-op, but I won't eat Pasta any more - carbs just trigger too many cravings for me, and I haven't been brave enough yet to try cauliflower as a substitute (I've always HATED cauliflower).

I am also interested in this product, but it seems pricey even without shipping charges. I've never been a big mac and cheese person, but it might be a good way to cram some Protein in.

I feel the same way. I really don't do Pasta or potatoes anymore (maybe one bite....pasta makes me have a icky too full feeling so does rice) and I am avoiding chips which go down way too easy so what am I going to put the cheese sauce on?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
