I've been away for a while, but I miss you guys.

Easy to grab Cookies and Snacks during the holiday season & I've gained a couple of pounds. Clothes still fit fine, but want to be very careful not to fall back into bad habits.

How's life going with the rest of you?

Heyyy girrrl!!! Yeah good idea, all us at goal or very close need to start chatting more and keeping each of us entertained or motivated to keep the weight off.

I'm sure you're doing good Mini, you've always kept your head in check. I've missed you around here. I'm glad to see you posting today. :)

I'll tell you what's on my mind right now. I'm starting to feel a little bit frustrated. I feel frustrated because I'm starting to notice I'm finding reasons to keep going. Now, I know it's probably NOT true, but my head keeps making up excuses to keep trying to lose weight. Ugh I think I really need to go talk to someone.

Anyway, thats just me for today. Let's see who else will pop and say hello!

Hey there! I totally understand where your head is. I was like that too. My husband freaked out & said that if I got below 125, he was going to shove food down my throat. I've been maintaining at 125-130 for over a year now. As I said in my first post, I'm up a few pounds, but not going to stress. I'm still in the same clothes as I wore at 125 (123 for a few days, but shhhh!) If it is still hanging on by January 1st, I'll go back to basics and take it off. I really think it's a little extra snacking due to the holidays and Water weight. It's all good.

Good to hear from you. I miss the "old guys".

I am starting to slowwly gain. lowest was 126 now up around 135 :o I am so scared I will get fat again. Have one pair of jeans that fit (I didn't keep any fat clothes!) Started loggin in my food. Just can't seem to exercise enough I pushed myself too hard and hurt my knee. Night time is the hardest. Carb out. So I am logging in here to get some support.

Going to bed. Miss this support. :wub:

I am still here. last night had a carb crave, drank a warmed Premier Protein drink. I had formed a really bad habit of snacking while reading in bed (carbs of course-healthy carbs ha-ha) put the nix on that! Planned my food for the planning to eat what I planned. Lets keep this alive.

spent the weekend away...didn't plan my food (would have been rude to my hosts!) but I just eat in moderation. Weighed the first 130.4 will see 120's next month for sure! Day off so on the chores I didn't get to over the weekend. First thing is to make my food plan for the day. How is everyone else doing???

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

      Woohoo! I have 7 more days till surgery, So far I am already down a total of 20lbs since I started this journey.
