rhondarina 13 Posted January 9, 2012 I think starvation mode is mainly a myth. But I do think your body has controls so that it doesn't lose too fast too quick. 1 LilMissDiva Irene reacted to this
Ducker 59 Posted January 9, 2012 I am generally not very hungry either, but I learned that if I let that dictate my diet I would not be successful. I didn't eat enough, I stalled. I ate more, I lost and I mean lost fast. So it's up to you. I had this surgery to lose weight and I want to be successful, and I am sure you do to. Do yourself a favor and put yourself on an eating schedule. It is going to be tough and time consuming until you create a new habitual eating pattern for yourself. But, it will be worth it in how you feel and in the numbers you see on the scale. Let's do this! Ducker
kgremmy 36 Posted January 9, 2012 I need to decrease my calories to lose. I have been maintaining and I need to get back down to 700-900 calories a day. I normally work out 5 days a week and will burn anywhere from 200-300 calories a day. I start back focusing and cleaning my diet up tomorrow.
