Question For Those With Gallbladder Problems After Wls

I am 1 month post op and taking the actigal for my gallblader per doctors instructions.

Apparently rapid weight loss can trigger gallbladder problems. My question to those who have had WLS THEN had gallbladder problems.. did you take the actigall??? do you think taking the actigall did or did not help??

I am just wondering if I may have a gallbladder operation looming over me in a few months... At this point I have never had any gallbladder related health problems.

I did not take Actigall. I had no gallbladder problems prior to WLS. Statistically, only about a third of WLS patients will have gallbladder problems, and Actigall has its own set of side effects. I just turned out to be in the unlucky 33%.
