Pookeyism 1,143 Posted December 3, 2011 Theoretically it is good for nausea. There seems to be ALOT of nausea posts here and there - anyone know of someone, or anyone ic CA use cannibus tea? Please not alot of finger wagging, it is a legitimate question - ALOT of what is posted re:excessive nausea sounds like chemo treatments!

Orangina 1 Posted December 4, 2011 Nausea (extreme) for me was hospital related, and drug/surgery related. Many of the drugs can make you nauseous. I was given many anti nausea drugs and for the most part was still nauseated but less so. Took some pills prescribed for three days after coming home... and mine went away. My surgeon told me that the surgery itself is very much nausea causing.. ( I had not had any nausea prior).. i dont know about cannibus tea, at home.. but the herbal teas have theophylline my surgeon told me which induces hunger so be aware of how much herbal tea you drink.. I was drinking it all day long.. sip sip. I now use one bag.. all day. Just remember it should clear up after the hospital stay in a couple days... you will get thru it.. Lissa 2,631 Posted December 4, 2011 I don't like any hot teas since surgery. I drink cold, Decaf tea all day long. I'd be concerned with drinking cannabis tea because I'd hate to have a positive drug test. Does the THC transfer through the tea?

Does the THC transfer through the tea? Theophylline is a drug similar in effect to caffene, I hear alot of nuts and d'icians refering to that about herbal tea. You can have your herbal tea - they are wrong. It is found in trace amounts in actual tea. Herbal teas are only going to have the properties of the plants/parts of plants that are in the tea, many herbal teas do not have tea at all. Cannibus tea might actually have a slight appetite stimulant but not anything signifigant I would think. If it is used for nausea you would only have a small amount. The THC - yes it will probably stay in your system for a small amount of time - no more than 30 days. LOL, I know someone out there has at least tried this - I wish they would post.If it works and people would come out and say so that could go along way twords the pharmacopea of plants we have available for this type of surgery. My husband and I were talking to an herbalist friend about the teas we could make from day one and add the supplements to, and get the nutrition and additional positive effects at the same time. Definately be careful with what you consume. Some teas will have unwanted effects, such as diuretics and blood thinning - and alot of them are in the weight loss teas!
