Starbucks Skinny Vanilla Latte Has Protein? Who Knew?

Recommended Posts

Wow, just had a 100-calorie Skinny vanilla Latte and when I entered it in my food diary, it shows as 9 grams of Protein? ???

This is great! Couldn't finish it, of course, but sure enjoyed what I did have!

The Protein comes from the milk! I normally have a few glasses of milk a week, for the protein but also for the Vitamin d and Calcium. And I can't finish a tall either! Did you know that you can get them in a "shorty" version? It is their kid cup, but they can make any of their drinks that size.

I used to go once or twice a day too. Can you finish a tall? What do you get?

I have a venti caramel frapaccino light every morning. Recently I just started having venti peppermint white mocha frapaccino lights too. If I get one in the evening they are usually a grande. Sometimes a venti.

My surgeon said I could drink them after surgery, but my taste buds were totally out of wack, that was a sad time lol. Eventually they returned and all was well :) lol!

Yeah! Thanks Sleeve 4 me and everyone else. I feel silly for saying this is great news.....but it IS to me. lol

Girrl you sound like me! I love my fraps. I was kinda hoping my taste buds for fraps didn't return since it is quite expensive. I calculate I spend around $1,600 a year YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's for 1 a day.

But I do not buy lunch and take left overs everyday, therefore I feel I can make the expense.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
