Her surgery center sounds very much like the one I went to...I had the upper GI thing, done with flouroscope, right before my DH drove me home. Everything went fine, and I was much happier being at home. I know I've read on here that some surgeons do require an overnight stay, and some patients are higher risk for various reasons, so it's all an individual thing.
