Best Bariatric Or Gastric Sleeve Surgeon In Los Angeles

Recommended Posts

I am sort of biased, but I highly recommned Dr. Quebbemann in Newport Beach and I think he has an office in Beverly Hills. Dr Q. did the first "Spider" surgery for VSG in the world and you can see him on "The Dr's" TV show talking about this single incision VSG surgery. He has two other firsts of WLS which he will talk to you about. He is the surgeon to the stars. Ever heard of Bill Handel? Handel's surgeon was....Dr Quebbemann. (if you want to watch Dr Q, go to YouTube and look up show airing in 2010) He has been featured on many other shows & newsarticles.

If you can get an appointment to see him. Many are happy with his partner Dr. Braverman. Wishing you all the best!

I had my sleeve with Dr. Feiz as well. Hands down he has the best bed side manners from any dr out there.

I had a slow recovery from the surgery and not once did my calls to his cell go unanswered - day or night he answered and helped me get through the rough days. It's was great to know my Dr. is by my side when I needed one the most.

I too have Dr. Feiz, and agree that his office staff is wonderful. He does everything quickly, but he does take the time to answer all questions and concerns. I wish he would find an office that had available parking! Beverly Hills is a nightmare town to drive in.

I have zero complaints about him, and would recommend him to anyone.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
