Tomorrow Is My Gastric Sleeve Surgery Day

Surgery at 7:30 am! Just had my lovely bowel prep drink, IN A WINE GLASS, of course! I am excited, nervous & occasionally freaking.

Congrats!!! So excited for you. Be prepared for 3 days of feeling like hell, and then everyday gets better. I havn't been so happy and healthy EVER :-) yay for you!

Well, I'm sleeved! It was not nearly as bad (so far) as I had anticipated! I had nausea in the PACU & apparently cussed my doctor out a bit about nausea meds. I don't rememberthat part AT ALL, but I do remember the nurse saying that she had given me all the stuff for nausea that she could. Haha. Oops! It is day 2 & I feel generally comfortable. No vomiting. I am able to get my Water & protien shakes in. I am so glad I'm on this side of the surgery. Let the real work begin! Now back to SIP WALK REST.
