Hello Guys, quick update on me. I am down 42lbs and though I have about 60 to go for my goal the difference is EXTREME. My bloodwork is all in the normal range from prediabetic and higher cholesterol i am taking stairs two by two and not even winded and if I can toot my own horn things in the bodoir are spicier than ever. I still have little to no hunger which is insane coming from a guy who was always waiting for his next meal. Im on mushies and the only concern i have had with eating thus far is that I have gained a touch of anxiety when it comes to eating. I always feel like I will gain back every pound whenever I eat, Im gonna talk to my analyst about that as I would hate to develop an eating disorder. All and all I couldn't be happier and im looking forward to my new future. I will post pics when I reach goal. Not having a big problem with loose skin yet, but I have lost a lot of muscle mass from my chest and biceps which was something I was hoping to avoid.

CT - Way to go, guy! I am proud of you. I can relate to the anxiety when eating - at some level I think if I put one wrong bite in my mouth, the 100 pounds will come back. It's not as bad now as it was earlier on.

Keep up the good work!

Sharon

I agree with Sharon--at first, I was petrified that I would eat myself back into gaining the weight I had lost. Over time, you will relax and realize that as long as you're following the plan (Protein first, then veggies), you're going to have a much easier time keeping the weight off long-term. It's still kind of surreal for me, I admit, but I'm loving it!

Keep up the good work! You're on the loser's bench now and on your way!

CT, you've done great already!! Congrats :) I knew you'd be one to do well with this.

I also had this problem to in the beginning. I'm very comfortable now with myself and I really highly doubt I'll ever gain my weight back. I've learned too much, come too far and love the new me far more now than any amount of food could take the place of. Just keep doing what you're doing, you'll be just fine. Still speak with someone though, that will also put some spin on things that might uncover things you didn't think of. The more insight we all have of our addictions, the best chance for coming out for the better.

That said... you need to update your ticker!

Congratulatoins CT!!! What a great update!!! I struggle a bit with that whole eating thing too. I just keep giving myself reality checks and reminding myself of the total calories I am consuming and burning. Like others have said, it should level off for us as we become more accostomed to our new bodies and new way of being. Sometimes I just can't believe the changes I am making!!!! It's scary to think it may go away. I guess it's a normal response to an abnormal situation! Congrats again!!!!!! Enjoy the new you!!!!

Congrats on your loss! I still maintain that having NO HUNGER has 100% made this journey easier...who would have ever thought we could go from thinking about food constantly to feeding our bodies because it is necessary. :lightbulb:

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
