BocaSl 0 Posted November 12, 2011 Steve here from South Florida.41yrs old.I was scheduled to be sleeved on Oct 31st (halloween).I did my 6months of hoop jumping ,Pre op Diet for 2 weeks and surgery got canceled due to the fact I was "difficult to intubate" , my lungs collapsed and spent a day and a half in ICU. I was sent home on 24/7 oxygen. With that said. I am determined,I feel much better have met with surgery team and will meet with pulmonary specialist on Monday for clearance .FINGERS AND TOES CROSSED. I will be back in surgery on November 17th.So we shall see.I look forward to contributing to the forum as much as possible. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I'm still looking for someone who has actually had surgery through Strax in Lauderhill and wondered if that might be your doctor? Good luck with your journey!!
