If so, you might try weaning yourself ....those withdrawl headaches are a bummer! Also i am on day 9 of my preop diet. I had a head ache the first 2 days. ATeam 38 Posted December 8, 2011 Just started my one-week pre-op on Tuesday. So far, is isn't so bad! I surprisingly have more energy than before (most likely because I was having a food funeral for the past 3 weeks), and I'm really not that hungry. I miss eating, but thats about it! CowgirlJane 14,260 Posted December 8, 2011 My preop diet is not low calorie, but is low carb. I have felt weird... like my legs feel heavy, just super low energy. I guess that is why i have never been able to do low carb for very long, i just don't feel great. I know I can maintain it to my surgery (Monday!!!) but I am worried about how I am going to feel post op considering how lousy I feel right now. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I went to the mall today and took with me in a small cooler the Protein Plus premixed drinks from costco (very good) and a sugar free Jello. I drank a bottle of Water on the way there and to home, now I am having my Unjury chicken broth. I guess this proves we can really survive without eating all the time!
