So I'm 3 months out, will be for months on Nov 27th and my hair was always really thin and fine to begin with, now that im loosing it all, I'm starting to freak. I take my Vitamins every day, I've been also taking Biotin, using an intensive repair Shampoo and conditioner and also using a heat protectent (sp?) when i decide to blow dry or curl my hair. Its starting to get worse and worse. I'm considering getting the jessica simpson clip in human hair extensions to just add some volume and give it some "OMPH" But was just curious to see what anyone else has done and/or tried them before? Any advice would be awesome.

I LOVE MY clip on extensions! Here are some recent pics of me with them on, but with hats on. I'm also posting one from December 2010 first time using them. They are sooo easy.

Also one more thing. I buy them straight. I wash them before wearing (to soften them up) and curl them (hot rollers). I feel too much like Cher when they are straight LOL and I want them to look as natural as possible, which I think they do.

I'm almost 3 months post-op, and my fine/thin hair is starting to fall out faster also. Sleeve4Me- your hair clips look beautiful!

If it gets to the point where you can see bald spots or it's too thin, I may look into getting a weave or extensions. I'm curious to see what others are doing in this same predicament.

edit: Also, would cutting my hair shorter help with volume?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
