One thing I hate is the MARK AS READ choice is now at the very BOTTOM of the screen, kind of unhandy. I for one click the UNREAD button, scroll through and open the posts I want to read in additional tabs and then mark the entire forum read. That keep the message count fresh for the next time I visit.

Hello, may I recommend trying out the "View New Content" feature (located to the left of the Search bar at the top). This enables you to filter/search by content you have not yet read, content that is new since your last visit, or content posted in the last 24 hours, week, etc.

Also, the "Mark This Forum As Read" option is located to the left of the "Start New Topic" button located on the Forum Category pages when viewing the topics.

I hope this helps :smile1:

This is what I see at the end of each thread! Its driving me nuts, I tell ya! LOL

Hello, after taking a look at the screenshot you posted, the problem may be a bug related to the zoom being 125% (instead of 100%). May you test changing the zoom to 100% (bottom-right of browser option) and see if this fixes the problem?

Also, may you provide your browser version? I'm guessing Internet Explorer version 8? This can be displayed by clicking "Help" then "More About Internet Explorer".

Thank you :smile1:

I can see everything fine here at work. I will do that when I get home to see if that fixes the problem. Thanks,

Switched to 100% and it didn't work. I have Windows 7 Home Premium. Oh well, it doesn't happen when I reply to a thread, I can read everything then LOL.

You may try upgrading your browser to the latest version (Internet Explorer version 9). That may fix the issue :)

What is with these reputation points? I see the box over there showing who has the most points, but I don't get where these points even come from. I don't see anywhere on here where points are given.

Hello, the reputation points are earned when someone clicks to "Like This" button. Each "Like This" click by a single user earns 1 reputation point. This can be for posts in topics, photo comments, blogs, etc.

Thanks! Since i never post pictures, I guess I'll never get any points that way.

Not that it matters. At 2 1/2 years post op, I don't have a lot to post about, but I do love to help if anyone is struggling!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
